"A series of 4 races over the winter 2009/10. Same grade II/III river course. Accessible for all. All welcome from Top Div. A (open Race), Div. B Race...and special focus on beginners and improver's. I think the term white water is a bit misleading for that paddle but it can be quite fun...I was considering it (and know that some of the loughbrough students are as well)

The replacement link does work well, and the first Barrow WWR Winter Series Race yesterday was pretty well attended (20 paddled) and good fun without being over-testing. A great course for initiation to WWR, as the weather conditions change its character, and WWR and non-WWR boat classes are available. The date of the second race has been changed - to TUESDAY December 15th at 11.00 a.m. Same venue, of course!
